Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for Softball to lead and develop student-athletes from February through May. Responsibilities include maintaining academic standards, managing assistant coaches, and ensuring successful training and competition of the varsity teams. Preference is given to candidates with coaching experience, CPR certification, and a Virginia Teaching License. This position offers a chance to foster pride in athletics within the school community.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or participating in softball at high school or college level.
• Current CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in such courses.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high academic standards for student athletes.
• Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Manage athlete performance and training.
• Attend and direct the team during contests.
