Patagonia Union High School District #20 is seeking a head coach to lead the sports program at Patagonia High School. The role focuses on building leadership, organization, and the overall development of student-athletes.

The position requires preparing teams for competition, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring the health, safety, and academic success of students. The head coach will train and supervise assistant coaches and manage pre/post-game supervision.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, supervision, and organization for the sports program
• Prepare team for successful competition and development
• Instill sportsmanship and ethical conduct over winning at all costs
• Supervise locker rooms and oversee athletes at games and travel
• Train and supervise assistant coaches
• Develop off-season programs and practice plans

Job summary:

• To provide leadership, supervision, and organization to facilitate the sports program


• To prepare the team for best probability of being successful


• To place sportsmanship and the lessons of sport above “winning at all costs”


• To insure the health, safety and academic success of students at all times

Must be willing to:

• Build off-season program


• Be prepared for practice and games


• Prepare athletes for game success


• Teach proper sports technique


• Supervise locker rooms before and after practice and games


• Supervise players on the bus and away games


• The head coach will train and supervise all assistant coaches
