Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker for an FMLA coverage position serving high school students and a transition program. This onsite role involves group work, 1:1 support, and social-emotional services within both a high school building and a transition setting.

The assignment runs Nov 16–Dec 18 with potential extension. Responsibilities include crisis support, collaboration with staff and families, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide effective social-emotional and crisis support in a school-based environment.
• Experience working with high school and/or transition-aged students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based social work services to students in grades 9–12 and transition programs.
• Spend two days per week at the transition building running groups and providing 1:1 student support as needed.
• Spend three days per week at the high school building running two groups and providing general social-emotional support.
• Provide support to students within the high school’s Emotional Disabilities (ED) program.
• Support approximately four students within the ED high school program.
• Respond to general student crisis needs and provide on-call support at the high school.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in student support and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
