Job summary

Novel Prep is looking for a dedicated High School Science Teacher in Costa Mesa, California. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, at least three years of teaching experience, particularly with AP-level courses, and strong classroom management skills. Responsibilities include teaching biology, chemistry, and physics, development of lesson plans, and supporting student success in a positive classroom environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience teaching AP-level courses strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with College Board AP curriculum and exam requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school science courses including Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans.
• Prepare students for AP exams and support strong academic outcomes.
