Job summary

Independent School District 272 Eden Prairie is seeking a Paraprofessional/Security Monitor for Eden Prairie High School. The role supports student supervision, safety, and entry access during the school day.

The position offers 8 hours per day, 178 working days per year, with a pay rate of $22.81 per hour and competitive benefits. High school diploma preferred, CPR/First Aid desired, strong communication and decision-making under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One to two years post-secondary training in social work or law enforcement preferred.
• One to two years job-related experience dealing with adolescent supervision, preferably within an educational system.
• CPR certification and First Aid training desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively with secondary students and adults.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly and work independently.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to stay calm with disruptive students.
