Job Title: Secondary Resource Teacher

Location: Olathe East High School, Olathe, KS

Academic Year: 2026-2027

Position Description

This position instructs students in a classroom that may include students with educational risk factors and special needs. Building strong relationships with students and families is essential. Differentiating instruction to accommodate a wide range of developmental needs is required. The teacher must understand students with significant needs and challenging behaviors and program accordingly. The teacher is responsible for implementing the district curriculum in a way that maximizes student learning and for supervising and evaluating all students within the assigned group.

Qualifications

Required: Kansas elementary teaching license with High Incidence 9-12 endorsement. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
