CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as High School Principal at St. Charles North High School for the 2027 - 2028 SY. This is a full-time, 12-month position. See job description attached.

The principal will provide leadership and administration which will motivate instructional and support personnel to strive for superior performance so as to provide the best possible opportunities for student growth and development, both educationally and personally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for eligibility.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• General Administrative Endorsements required or equivalent authorization.
• Educator and Principal Evaluation Training required.
• Successful completion of state proficiency exams required.
• Evidence of successful teaching experience required.

Responsabilités

Under general supervision, the Principal leads the organization, safety, supervision and educational leadership of the school. The primary responsibility of the principal is to improve instruction and spend a majority of time on curriculum and staff development (105 ILCS 5/10-21.4a).

Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Certification:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• General Administrative Endorsement(s)
• Educator and Principal Evaluation Training
• Successful completion of State proficiency exams
• Evidence of Successful Teaching Experience
