Job summary

Springfield City School District seeks a High School Head Powerlifting Coach for the 2026-27 Winter Season at Springfield High School. The role focuses on mentoring student athletes and leading a disciplined team of coaches and players to achieve program goals.

Candidates must complete Coaches' Tool Chest coursework and obtain or be able to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit from the Ohio Department of Education. The position offers a seasonal stipend.

Qualifications

• Completion of Coaches' Tool Chest coursework (Fundamentals of Coaching, CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Lindsay's Law, Mental Health etc).
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit as issued by the Ohio Department of Education.

• Ability to build strong communication links between students, parents and the community
• Ability to build strong connections with collegiate level contacts both in academics and recruiting

As a Coachyou are required to:

What We Offer:

As a High School Head Powerlifting Coach, the stipend is $1,299.00

All "Requirements for Coach/Advisor" must be met on or before the first practice date and throughout the entire season of sport to be performed.
