Qualifications

• Experience in percussion pedagogy, rehearsal planning and implementation, teaching high school-aged students and teaching small and large group instruction.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports and Heat and Illness prevention, along with NVUSD requirements.
• Season begins in February and runs through May; duties include working with one or more district high schools Marching Band and/or Winter Percussion programs.

Responsibilities

• Rehearsal preparation, instruction and performance support at one or more school sites.
• Collaborate with credentialed teacher at American Canyon High School to support students of varying skill levels.
