Job summary

Putnam County Schools seeks a High School PE/Wellness teacher to deliver a comprehensive physical and wellness education program for grades 9-12 in accordance with state law and local policies. The position is assigned for 200 days and requires state-endorsed PE/Wellness certification.

Salary is based on the Professional Salary Schedule with experience and education level, plus a competitive benefits package including PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental

Qualifications

• Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for PE, wellness, at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive physical and wellness education program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
