Basehor-Linwood USD 458 seeks a High School Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year at Basehor-Linwood High School.

Under the supervision of a teacher, you will assist with implementing plans and programs to support students with mental, physical, academic, behavioral or emotional learning challenges.

You will work with students individually or in small groups, may assist with lifting or other personal needs, and will follow a 6.5-hour day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direct supervision of a teacher.
• Provides assistance in implementing plans and programs related to academic or functional skill attainment for students with mental, physical, academic, behavioral and/or emotional learning challenges.
• Works directly with students, individually or in small groups.
• May assist with lifting or other personal needs of students.
• Works 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
