Job summary

Grandview High School in Grandview, Missouri seeks a part-time Assistant for the 25-26 Sponsor - All School Musical to support a high school Broadway production. You will assist with auditions, organize rehearsals and parent forms, supervise sets, costumes, lighting, and props, and help coordinate volunteers under the Building Principal.

Immediate starting date and flexible hours apply. Your role includes organizing and supervising lighting, sound, props, and costumes, and handling backstage

Qualifications

• Missouri Teacher Certification or Substitute Teacher Certification.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct audition rehearsals.
• Distribute and collect parent permission forms.
• Organize and oversee auditions.
• Recommend purchase/rental of music books, props, and lighting and sound equipment as appropriate.
• Generate rehearsal and performance schedules.
• Conduct all music rehearsals.
• Conduct and/or supervise all choreography rehearsals.
• Conduct all blocking and on stage rehearsals.
• Organize parent volunteers and parent meetings.
• Supervise set design and construction.
• Supervise costuming and make-up.
• Organize and supervise lighting and sound.
• All other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.

Education
