Salary: Per SCEA Master Agreement

Direct Supervisor: Building Principal

REQUIREMENTS

• Michigan Teacher Certificate
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and the Michigan teacher certification in Mathematics (EX 6-12)
• Must possess the ability to deliver effective classroom instruction and management Must possess a strong desire to work with students and their parents
• Must possess the willingness to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including staff and curriculum development
• Must possess the willingness to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction Must possess a willingness to adapt to continuous change
• Must possess excellent communication skills when engaging with students, parents, and colleagues Must possess a demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position
• Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required.

PREFERRED

Certification in 6-12 subject areas.
