Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Georgia teaching certificate or eligibility by GaPSC in appropriate content area.
• Preferred specialization in Mathematics for high school.
• Pass required background checks and employment verification.
• Experience teaching high school mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE).
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs.
• Monitor progress with formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations.
• Collaborate in PLCs, meetings and professional development.
• Uphold all school policies and procedures and ensure student confidentiality.
• Serve as an Advisor to a group of students and monitor their progress.
