Woodinville Montessori School (WMS) is seeking a part-time Math Teacher for the Bothell campus. The 0.6 FTE position will use Montessori and contemporary methods to engage high school students and support their growth.

You will collaborate with a supportive team to foster critical thinking, data analysis, and core math skills. Start date is as soon as possible; compensation follows the presented range, and the schedule aligns with the school timetable.

Qualifications

• Montessori classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to teach Math at high school level.

• Four or more years of classroom experience.

Location: Bothell Campus

Schedule: Monday 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Tuesday 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Wednesday 9:30 am – 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., and Friday 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Start Date: as soon as possible

Pay Range: $34,800 – $54,000 per year (based on education, training, and experience)

The part-time (0.6 FTE) Math Teacher will work in a collaborative team setting and be given opportunities to utilize contemporary and Montessori methods to engage, support and continue the growth of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, logical reasoning, data analysis, systematic investigation, and core subject knowledge. The Bothell campus is conveniently located off I-405 just north of State Route 522.

What We’re Looking For

• Undergraduate degree in math and/or graduate degree in education-related field
• Possess experience in a Montessori school or interest in learning about Montessori pedagogy
• Four or more years of classroom experience
• Commitment to professional development and best practices in education
• Commitment to meeting the needs of each student
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass background checks and TB test
