Job summary

Greenwich Public Schools seeks a long-term substitute Mathematics teacher for Greenwich High School, from approximately November 4, 2026, through December 22, 2026. The position carries full salary and benefits for the duration of the assignment.

Qualified candidates will hold CT State Certification in Mathematics for Grades 7-12 and will implement GPS curriculum and standards with engaging, inquiry-based instruction and ongoing assessment.

Qualifications

• Must hold CT State Certification, or certifiability, in Mathematics, Grades 7-12.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and standards-based assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional program consistent with GPS goals and standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for effective time use.
• Incorporate inquiry-based learning and technology into instruction.
• Assess student learning and adjust methods to meet needs, including special education.
