Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specialization and grade level pursuant to WV Code §18A-3-2.
• Certified in Mathematics 5-AD.
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate.
• Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.
• Perform duties as described in the job description below.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements lesson plans that align with WV Content Standards and district curriculum.
• Uses 21st Century technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Delivers rigorous instruction to all students.
• Prepares lessons reflecting accommodations for different learning styles.
• Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies and materials.
