Job summary

Rooted School Indy is seeking a Math Teacher to lead and execute our 9–12 Math curriculum. You will work with the instructional team to implement the school’s vision and ensure rigorous math instruction aligned with our hybrid model.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-informed feedback, and targeted student interventions aimed at equity for all students, in a startup-style environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 0-1 years of teaching experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and maintain Math curriculum at Rooted School Indy.
• Collaborate with other content area teachers for cross‑curricular projects and soft skills.
• Monitor student data, provide frequent feedback and targeted support.
• Implement and execute student interventions with flexible grouping.
• Deliver Rooted’s hybrid academic model with fidelity.
• Help establish Rooted culture among students, partners and the community.

Rooted School Indy is growing and looking for new Team Members to join our school.

In your role, you will be a lead executor of our Math curriculum.

As one of our Math Teachers, you will work in step with our instructional team to fulfill our school-wide vision for grades 9-12 and execute the curriculum to bring that vision to a reality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating, refining, + maintaining Math curriculum at Rooted School
• Collaborating with other content area teachers to design cross-curricular projects and emphasize targeted soft skills across curriculum
• Meticulously monitoring student data, provide frequent feedback and targeted student support in response to data
• Consistently implementing and execute student interventions with flexible grouping
• Execute Rooted’s hybrid academic model with fidelity and consistency
• Actively establishing Rooted culture among students, partners, and the community-at-large
• Perform other duties as assigned
