Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Teacher Instructional Math Coach for Paterson Public Schools to raise high school mathematics instruction and student achievement. The role emphasizes rigorous teaching practices aligned to district/state expectations, coaching teachers through modeling, co-teaching, and feedback.

Ideal candidates will analyze assessment data, lead PLCs and PD sessions, support differentiation, pacing, and planning to promote engagement and readiness in mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support to Math teachers through modeling, co-teaching, classroom support, and feedback.
• Support implementation of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and advanced mathematics curriculum aligned to state standards
• Assist teachers in strengthening problem-solving, reasoning, discourse, and conceptual and understanding.
• Analyze assessment data to guide instructional planning.
• Facilitate PLCs, common planning, professional development sessions, and data meetings
• Support tutoring, intervention, acceleration, and graduation readiness programs.
• Assist teachers with pacing, lesson planning, and differentiation strategies.
• Promote student engagement and achievement in mathematics.
