Job summary

Qualifications

• State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher.
• Geometry endorsement and Algebra 1 endorsement.
• SAILS Math Reasoning & Decision Making (if applicable).
• Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers mathematics curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Teaches mathematics including real and imaginary numbers, calculus, geometry, and promotes creative thinking and analysis.
• Plans lessons and instructional materials, translates plans into learning experiences, and utilizes time effectively.
• Maintains records for grading, attendance, and reporting as required by district procedures and applicable laws.
• Communicates with students and parents to involve them in education.
• Coordinates with other staff, especially within grade level, and participates in meetings and committees.

Education

Bachelor's in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
