Job summary

Valid ODE Teacher Certification for Intervention Specialist K-12 is required. The position pays $130 per day under the Ohio Substitute Teacher Services contract, with available start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Develop intervention strategies to remediate student needs.
• Provide instruction aligned with individual IEPs.
• Keep records and reports as required by leadership and state.
• Able to use computers and current technology.
• Knowledge of ODE Standards and Model Courses of Study.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative/innovative intervention strategies to remediate student needs
• Collaborate and support to maintain consistency with student interventions
• Provide instruction as indicated by individual student IEP (Individual Education Program)
• Able to use current technology, including computers
• Knowledgeof the ODE Standards and Model Courses of Study
• Provide a safe environment for students which is conducive to learning
• Keep necessary records and make reports as required by Principal, Superintendent, Board of Education and State Department of Education
• Contribute to curriculum building and program improvement in content, methods, and materials
