SESI is hiring educators to provide academic, social, and emotional services for students needing extra support. You will use SESI’s instructional models and curriculum, assess progress, and collaborate with families and school teams to drive outcomes.

The role involves developing lesson plans, using data to adjust plans, and supporting students with diverse backgrounds while maintaining safety and fostering an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; teaching certification preferred.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsabilités

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans to promote students’ academic performance.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety procedures as needed.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals; maintain forms and files.
• Participate in daily school functions and trainings.
