Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Health Assistant to support health service programs in a high school clinic under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The role includes basic first aid, health records maintenance, and routine clinic duties.

Responsibilities also include immunization record maintenance, documenting visits, and administering medications per school policy to support safe, efficient health services for students.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic health practices.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Responsabilités

• Checks temperatures; renders limited first aid; assists with screening procedures.
• Maintains immunization records and informs officials of deficits; assists with clinic organization and documentation.
• Documents clinic visits and care provided daily.
• Administers medication following policy and documents.
• Performs related work as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
