Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a football coach at Minnetonka High School to lead team practices, games, and related activities. You will oversee team administration, budgeting involvement, and staff development for assistant coaches.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, enforcing conduct standards, and aligning with school policies and MS HSL guidelines to ensure a safe, competitive program during the 2026- season.

Qualifications

• Coaching football at the high school level or equivalent experience.
• Ability to plan and supervise practices and events.
• Strong communication with staff, parents, and students.
• Knowledge of MSHSL rules and Minnetonka Public School policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, accompany and supervise team to and from all events including practices and competitions.
• Manage organization and administration of coaching an athletic team.
• Assist the Director of Activities with hiring, development and evaluation of assistant coaches.
• Assist with budget requests and fundraising as needed.
• Plan and implement conditioning and weight programs with Pagel Center staff.
• Coordinate practice and game schedules with relevant offices and coaches.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior and manage penalties.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature.
