Job summary

Jennings School District in Missouri is seeking a Flag Football Coach for the high school level to assist with the design and implementation of an activities program, supervise student athletes, and model positive behavior.

You will work with the Athletic Director to develop a cohesive K-12 athletics plan, attend events, mentor feeder coaches, and help grow participation while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years as approved assistant coach at an MSHSAA school.
• Missouri Teaching Certification or NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching; CPR and First Aid Certification.
• NFHS Concussion Certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Board of Education and MSHSAA policies.
• Develops a consistent K-12 athletics program with the Athletic Director.
• Attends and supports approved elementary and middle school events, camps, clinics, and activities.
• Fosters relationships with feeder schools to encourage participation in Jennings athletics.
• Provides coaching guidance, drills, and feedback to feeder coaches where appropriate.
• Encourages student-athletes to remain connected to Jennings athletics.
• Promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal development within the program.
• Meets with coaches and administrators to plan and evaluate athletic activities.
