Qualifications

• The Teacher, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), is responsible for the instruction of all areas of Exceptional Student Education in a classroom setting.
• Develops and implements Individual Educational Plans (IEP) plans for students including present levels and services.
• Maintains a positive educational climate for students with disabilities and uses evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements Specially Designed Instruction, accommodations, and supports per state standards.
• Develops and implements IEPs with present levels and goals.
• Maintains confidential records and handles data with care.
• Communicates with parents and district staff about student progress.
• Attends trainings to enhance ESE knowledge and skills.
