Qualifications

• Has at least a bachelor’s degree and working towards teaching certification.
• Two years of successful classroom experience in a Title 1 setting.
• Uses data to inform decisions and is achievement driven.
• Mastery of lesson planning and long-term planning.
• Strong behavior management and investment in students.
• Knowledge of the Common Core.
• Fosters relational capacity among staff, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and long-term instructional plan aligned to standards.
• Deliver instruction with differentiation and small group work.
• Record grades, attendance, and report cards; monitor IEP goals.
• Use data to drive instruction and attend weekly data meetings.
• Engage parents with regular updates and conferences.
• Lead and participate in staff meetings; model professional behavior.
• Coach a sport per year if assigned; may receive stipend.
