Omaha Public Schools seeks a Dance Team Head Coach at South High School to lead the program immediately. Responsibilities include supporting the athletics program in alignment with NSAA rules, with duties spanning practice planning, safety, and student development.

The role requires NSAA certification and a valid NDE teaching or administrative certificate with a coaching endorsement, coordinating with the varsity head coach and Athletic Director to ensure positive student-athlete outcomes.

Formación

• NSAA certification required to coach at high school level.
• Valid NDE teaching or administrative certificate with NSAA endorsement.
• Certification must be current and approved by Human Resources and Athletic Director.

Responsabilidades

• Support the varsity athletics program consistent with NSAA rules and district policies.
• Attend practices and events and maintain punctuality and professionalism.
• Uphold eligibility criteria and monitor student academic performance.
• Plan activities in coordination with the Athletic Director and head coach.
• Ensure safety and proper supervision of student athletes during activities.
• Communicate changes and issues to administrators, staff, and parents.

Educación

Teaching or administrative certificate through the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE)

Special Services Certification with coaching endorsement
