Job summary

Candidates must hold AED/CPR and First Aid/CPR certificates, be CHSAA-registered or hold a CDE teaching license, and pass the CHSAA Coaches Exam. Previous coaching at high school or college level is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold current AED/CPR certification on hire.
• Hold First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must be a CHSAA-registered coach or hold CHSAA coaching registration at hire.
• Colorado concussion certification required on hire.
• Must pass CHSAA annual Coaches Exam.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and enforce district, school, CHSSA rules.
• Possess knowledge and skills in the specific sport.
• Plan, organize and direct the sport activities.
• Teach advanced techniques in the sport.
• Promote and follow Board/School policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with diverse communities.
• Maintain safety and report unsafe conditions.
