Job summary

Bellevue School District in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Coach to support high school athletic programs within WIAA and KINGCO policies and BSD guidelines. You will assist the Head Coach in practices and competitions, help manage game day operations, and foster student development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

You will accompany teams to games and practices, enforce safety protocols, and align with district direction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Hold a current first aid and CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Support the high school program and improve professional relations with the educational system.
• Be loyal to and support the head coach in conducting the athletic program.
• Be aware of the number of games, matches, etc., as specified by the WIAA.
• Assist the Head Coach with the athletic program and season responsibilities.
• Accompany and direct the team to all games and practices.
• Report to and be supervised by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
• Adhere to the WIAA coaching clock hour program.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
