Cherry Creek School District seeks a part-time boys swimming coach to lead and develop the high school program. The role focuses on teaching fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training, while fostering moral values, pride, self-discipline and community relations.

Applicants must organize a high school program, possess or obtain a Colorado Coaching Certificate, and complete CHSAA requirements including concussion training. CPR and AED certification are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and develop a high school boys swimming program.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of boys swimming; willingness to adopt new theories/procedures.
• CPR & AED certification required; Colorado Coaching Certificate or ability to acquire one.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement procedures for open communication with parents and athletes.
• Establish direction and expectations for all program participants.
• Establish supervision responsibilities for practice, games, trips, and locker rooms.
• Develop and implement training plans by day, week, month, year as appropriate.
• Monitor athlete attendance/behavior/academic status.
• Comply with district, school and CHSAA By-Laws; enforce policies.
