Beaufort County School District seeks a part-time assistant coach to prepare student athletes for competition, emphasize discipline and sportsmanship, and elevate self-esteem through skill development. You will support athletic and academic goals while ensuring safety and compliance with district rules.

The role involves assisting in scheduling, maintaining records, and enforcing behavior standards with student athletes under the Athletic Director's guidance.

Formación

• Coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Knowledge of the assigned sport.
• Teaching certificate and experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize athletics as a supplemental program to support the academic mission.
• Instruct athletes in fundamentals, sportsmanship, strategy, and conditioning.
• Assist in scheduling intramural and interscholastic contests.
• Maintain attendance forms, insurance records, and related documents.
• Oversee safety conditions in facilities where the sport is conducted.
• Enforce conduct standards and penalties for breaches by student athletes.
