Qualifications

• Knowledge of athletic policy approved by the Saydel Board of Education and responsible for its implementation.
• Understanding of existing system, state and league regulations and apply them consistently.
• Ability to communicate through proper channels and attend required meetings.
• Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.

Responsibilities

• Assists the head coach in scheduling, transportation, and tournament requirements.
• Prepares for practices and events, coordinating with facilities and staff.
• Maintains documentation for athletic director and eligibility at sub-varsity level.
• Safeguards equipment and facilities under program supervision.
• Provides training rules and guidelines to athletes.
• Directs student managers, assistants, and statisticians.
• Communicates discipline decisions and contacts parents when needed.
• Holds parent meetings before the season starts.
