Job Description

The Boys' Assistant Basketball Coach at North Providence High School reports directly to the Principal and Athletic Director and is to perform all coaching and related duties as described.

Applicants must be available for duty during all times established by the Principal’s Committee of Athletics for the particular sport involved to the completion of the schedule. This will include any tournaments for which the team might be eligible. Practice sessions are held daily.

• Red Cross, American Heart Association CPR Certification or equivalent
• Obtain a national criminal background check with fingerprinting obtained at the State Attorney General's Office.
• When your background check is returned and acceptable for employment, you will be asked to return to complete onboarding paperwork to include the "Employment Eligibility Verification, USCIS I-9" as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Here you will attest to your employment authorization and must also provide acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorization.

Preferred:

• Complete knowledge of the sport involved
• Experience at the secondary or college level
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
