Job summary

Dayton Independent Schools – Dayton High School, Dayton, Kentucky, seeks a part-time Dayton High School Bowling Coach to lead practices, manage schedules, and oversee all aspects of the bowling program. The role requires high school graduation, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

The coach will work with athletic staff, coordinate fundraising, and ensure compliance with KHSAA guidelines. Evening games and events are expected as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Graduate.
• CPR and first aid certified.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height occasionally.
• Coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate record of equipment and inventory, all uniforms assigned to athletes.
• Responsible for practices, scheduling, and overseeing all aspects of Dayton High School sport athletes.
• In charge of all fundraising projects.
• Must be certified in all areas required by KHSAA.
• Attend meets/games as scheduled.
• Work collaboratively with other coaches.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with KHSAA and school guidelines.
• Establish and communicate clear team policies to parents and players before the beginning of the season.
• Maintain positive relations with students & parents.
• Model proper dress, language, demeanor and student/teacher relations.
