Job summary

The Bellevue School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for the high school athletic program. You will support the head coach, accompany the team to games and practices, and help manage the season according to WIAA and KINGCO rules.

This is a seasonal, non-benefits role with a fixed season salary and compliance requirements including first aid/CPR. Responsibilities include assisting with the program, maintaining professional relations within the education system, and fulfilling duties

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Hold a current first aid and CPR card; proof of valid cards must be provided prior to job offer.

Responsibilities

Support the high school in its athletic program and foster positive relations with the educational system and coaching staff.
Be loyal to and support the head coach in conducting the athletic program.
Be fully aware of the number of games, matches, etc., as specified by the WIAA.
Assume duties assigned by the head coach pertaining to the overall athletic program.
Assist the Head Coach in all matters related to the sports season.
Accompany and direct the assigned team to all games and practices.
Represent the Head Coach in the absence of the Head Coach when designated.
Be accountable to the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and Principal.
