Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Injury prevention and rehabilitation services

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a comprehensive athletic injury and illness prevention program for student athletes
• Attend practice sessions and athletic contests as assigned
• Maintain communication with students, parents, medical staff and coaches
• Provide physical conditioning training and supervise student assistants
• Prepare athletes for games using tapes, wraps, splints, braces and other devices
• Respond to emergencies and make quick judgments about injuries
• Develop rehabilitation and return-to-play procedures
• Coordinate scheduling of athletic physical examinations and screenings
• Maintain records and inventory of equipment and supplies
• Supervise and train student assistants
