Job summary

Athletico is seeking an Associate Athletic Trainer at South River High School, Edgewater, MD for a full-time role. You will work with medical staff, athletic directors, coaches, and athletes to assess conditions and create plans for prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include on-site care, program development and coordination, with clear documentation and communication. Eligible employees receive extensive benefits and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an Accredited CAATE Program.
• Work Experience: None required.
• Certification/Licensure: BOC Certified; Licensed and/or registered; CPR and First Aid; Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: None required.
• Language Skills: English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Apply protective or injury-preventive devices (tape, bandages, braces).
• Evaluate injuries and provide first aid or emergency care.
• Develop rehabilitation programs and prevention plans for athletes.
• Maintain accurate injury records and report treatment programs.
• Communicate progress with partners and guide continuum of care.
