Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or health-related field with BOC certification.
  • Three years of athletic training experience and eligibility for Florida licensure.
  • Ability to manage medical records and communicate with physicians, parents, and coaches.
  • Willingness to obtain required sign language proficiency and CPI training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive athletic training program for high school athletics.
  • Provide injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play decisions.
  • Deliver first aid, emergency care, and event coverage for practices and games.
  • Maintain confidential health records and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with coaches to implement sport-specific conditioning and safety plans.
