Job summary
Waterloo Community School District in Waterloo, IA is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive healthcare and athletic training services for student-athletes across the district. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, sports medicine, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Athletic Training
- Or Bachelor's degree + BOC certification
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site athletic training services at practices and events.
- Conduct initial clinical injury evaluations.
- Maintain timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, referrals, and return-to-play decisions.
- Design rehabilitation and training programs for athletes and communicate updates to families.
- Coordinate with coaches and medical staff on concussion management and emergency action plans.
