Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama certificate in school administration/supervision.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Possession of Alabama Professional Educator Certificate.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and professional development.
• Ability to supervise diverse groups and lead instructional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for staff and students.
• Conduct staff meetings and training to improve school operations.
• Demonstrate multitasking, delegation, and prioritization.
• Maintain confidentiality of Board and school information.
• Assume principal duties in the principal’s absence and lead school initiatives.
• Use technology for communication, data analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Support assessments, curriculum development, and instructional strategies.
• Coordinate facility management, safety, and extracurricular supervision.
• Engage in professional development and collaborative planning.
