Job summary

Wayne County School District's Wayne County High School in Monticello, Kentucky seeks an Assistant Principal to support instructional leadership and student achievement. Qualifications

• Valid Kentucky Certification in Instructional Leadership/ Principal.
• Three (3) years of successful teaching experience with demonstrated evidence of and potential for success in administrative/supervisory responsibilities
• Demonstrates knowledge of current curriculum and instructional trends and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and communicates to students and staff a high academic expectation.
• Assists with staff and student supervision.
• Administers student disciplinary procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
• Leads and supports staff in data gathering, organization and evaluation.

Education

Master's degree preferred
