High School Apprentice

Position Summary

The High School Apprentice is an entry-level position designed to provide students with exposure to the agricultural industry while supporting daily operations of the cooperative.

This role offers opportunities to gain hands‑on experience in various areas of the business, including agronomy, grain operations, feed, energy, office support, customer service, facility maintenance, and general agricultural support activities.

The apprentice will work alongside experienced team members to develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and an understanding of cooperative operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with a variety of daily operational activities across the cooperative.
  • Support agronomy, grain, and administrative teams as needed.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance tasks to promote a safe and organized work

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

  • Ability to safely operate basic tools and equipment following appropriate training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in farming, FFA, 4-H, agricultural education, or related activities is beneficial but not required.
  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one preferred.
