Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being of animals with proper care, food, water and a safe environment.
• Assist with safe movement and handling of animals.
• Support administration of treatments and vaccinations as directed.
• Maintain accurate records related to animal care and health.
• Assist with processing of animals following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain required PQA certifications (training provided on the job).
• Follow biosecurity protocols to protect animals and workplace.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and adapt to projects and new technologies.
• Uphold Schwartz Farms' values of integrity, respect, excellence and adaptability.
• Support SFI's animal welfare policies and report mistreatment or abuse.
• Be prepared to take on additional tasks to support the team and business.

• Maintain required PQA certifications (training provided on the job).
• Adhere to all biosecurity protocols to ensure the safety and health of the animals and the workplace.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork by collaborating with coworkers to achieve shared goals, embrace new technologies, and participate in various projects.
