Job summary

Pittsfield Public Schools in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Alpine Ski Coach to support the downhill skiing program at Pittsfield High School and Taconic High School. This is a paid, after school/evening position not eligible for benefits.

Successful candidates will manage, organize and administer the Alpine ski program, lead well-organized practices, complete MIAA coaching workshops and ensure full compliance with MIAA rules and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach fundamental downhill ski techniques that challenge the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize and administer the Alpine ski program.
• Conduct well-organized practices and ensure student-athlete safety.
• Complete MIAA required coaching workshops and comply with MIAA rules.
