Job summary

Banner Health is expanding its OB/GYN program in Phoenix, AZ, offering a hospitalist role in a Level 4 maternity hospital. The selected physician will join a growing MFM and high-risk OB Hospitalist program and be appointed to the University of Arizona faculty with a range of academic benefits.

Position details include 1.0 FTE with 91 annual 24-hour shifts, board certification/eligibility in OB/GYN, and an AZ medical license by start date. Collaboration with L&D and MFM teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Board certified or Board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Arizona medical license obtained by start date.
• Serve as one of the providers in the High-Risk OB Hospitalist service, collaborating with L&D and MFM teams.
• Coverage of in-house High-Risk OB Hospitalist consults.
• Residency supervision required.
• 1.0 FTE = 91 24-hour shifts annually, with some flexibility in the FTE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Labor and Delivery and MFM teams.
• Cover in-house high-risk OB hospitalist consults.
• Supervise residents in the department.
• Engage in academic activities within the University of Arizona appointment.
