Atlantic Health in Northern New Jersey is seeking a BE/BC Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with OB/GYN certification for co-management of high-risk patients. The role includes fetal status assessment, committee work, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and General OB/GYN.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Consultation with members of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for high-risk patients (co-management).
• Assessment of fetal status for perinatal Diagnostic Testing Center.
• Performance of a variety of administrative functions by serving on committees as designated by the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and/or the Director of Maternal/Fetal Medicine.
• Market the practice through direct physician-to-physician communication, community education, community service or other appropriate channels.
• Maintain and implement standards for health promotion and health maintenance.
• Provide open and timely communication with patients, families and their significant others.
• Accept and care for indigent and clinic patients in a manner consistent with compassionate and ethical patient care. Accept all managed care plans accepted by Atlantic Health hospitals.
