Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Antepartum unit in Plano. The role supports high-risk obstetric patients in a Level IV NICU vicinity, providing 24-hour non-laboring antepartum and GYN care.

PRN night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) and a three-shift per six-week schedule are offered. Required are a nursing diploma or associate degree (BSN preferred) with one year of clinical experience; acute obstetric experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited nursing program required
• BSN preferred
• CLIA requires foreign education equivalency compliance
• One-year clinical nurse experience or RN residency
• One year Antepartum experience strongly preferred
• One year Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• RN license required on hire
• BCLS certification prior to independent patient care and quarterly maintained
• NRP within 90 days required
• ACLS within 90 days required
• IFM preferred on hire
• CPI training maintained annually within 90 days required

• Follow age-specific safety/infection control measures
• Provide information to patient and family as needed
• Maintain continuity of care across shifts and transfers
