Job summary

United Protective Services is seeking a professional Lobby Security Officer for a high-rise office building in the Houston 77079 area. This customer-facing role requires a polished appearance, strong communication, and the ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining a secure environment.

You will greet tenants and visitors, monitor lobby access, verify IDs, operate CCTV and access control systems, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (commercial or high-rise preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Polished appearance and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Monitor and control lobby access and visitor check-in procedures.
• Verify identification and issue visitor badges.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Maintain a visible security presence in the lobby area.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service requests.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports using reporting software.
• Communicate effectively with property management and building tenants.
