Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator in Wisconsin with at least 2 years of experience operating stand‑up or high‑reach forklifts. Starting pay is $22.00/hour with a $2.00/hour night shift differential, reflecting experience and shift needs.

You’ll handle palletized goods, use an RF system to track materials, and perform daily equipment checks. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and working across shifts, including nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience operating a stand‑up forklift or high‑reach forklift.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience operating a stand‑up forklift or high‑reach forklift.

Pay

Pay Starting at $22.00/hour, with higher pay available based on experience. +$2.00/hour shift differential for night shift positions.

Shift Availability

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
